The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) approved a revised postcode framework to improve mail delivery accuracy and support modern address verification. The new system is designed to assign a unique, structured code to every deliverable address in Nigeria — covering all 774 Local Government Areas across 36 states and the FCT.
